An SBC (Single Board Computer) is a complete computer built on a single PCIMG card. This card contains the CPU, RAM, audio and video I/O, and LAN. In order to get any real functionality, an SBC must be placed into a passive backplane. SBCs have no room for peripheral cards and therefore rely on backplanes for card interface.
The SBC to the left is an IB-865. This SBC is capable of using Intel's new Dual Core processors giving the user more processing power than ever. Justservers is already using this exciting new technology in our 25+ series custom servers.
Choosing an SBC/backplane combination can be tough. If you need help deciding what is right for your system please contact us and one of our friendly sales associates will be glad to assist you.
